Safer Walkways At Challis Farm HOA

Rob Miller

At RAM Pavement, we are proud to deliver solutions that improve both function and safety for the communities we serve. That’s exactly what we achieved for the Challis Farm HOA in Charlotte. Their existing gravel path to the lake had become a liability — uneven and unsafe. We stepped in with a simple yet high-impact fix: a brand-new concrete sidewalk.

The Project
The community needed a more reliable way to reach their private lake, and we were glad to help. Our concrete team installed a durable, well-graded sidewalk to replace the old gravel walkway. The result was a smoother, safer surface that made access easier for everyone in the neighborhood.

The Challenge
Anytime we are dealing with an existing path that’s already being used, safety and minimal disruption are key. We had to be precise in grading, layout and execution. Our team took the time to get it right — a clear example of our commitment to the Last 5%.

The Result
The transformation was immediate. What used to be a potential hazard is now a clean, secure path that residents can use with confidence. The client told us that the final product turned out great — and that’s what matters most. It was a small job with a big impact, and one we’re proud to have delivered.

Projects like this reflect why we do what we do — making spaces safer, stronger and more enjoyable for the communities around us. From private HOAs to busy commercial lots, we bring our full commitment to every job. Looking to improve your property’s safety and accessibility?
