Happy New Year From RAM Pavement
Thank you for making 2019 our best year yet! We are super excited about all the new opportunities for growth that 2020 offers. Read about some of the great things we’ll be doing in 2020!
As we ring in the new year with parties, fireworks and the company of our loved ones, we often reflect upon the last year while looking ahead to future possibilities. As a company we’ve made a commitment to always push forward, improve our standards and produce the best quality work for our clients. This ensures our success as a business and it helps us to maintain and build strong relationships with our clients. We are truly blessed to have your support in this new year and we look forward to serving you for many more to come.
Time flows, things change and the requirements for being the best changes with them. At RAM Pavement, we are focused on being the best. This means we are constantly looking for ways to improve our standards and surpassing previous benchmarks. This year, we are aiming higher on the revenue side of the business and we are also venturing into a new service offering. We launched our thermoplastic markings division back in the winter and things are moving full steam ahead this month. Though this is a whole new vertical market, it is still very complementary to what we already do.
Thermoplastic is a long life road marking material. You can often see these types of markings on the highways and roadways. There is a high demand for this type of work in Charlotte and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to serve our community’s demand. We expect our first set of equipment to arrive at the end of February. We have a very experienced division leader who is collaborating with our cross-trained technicians.
Other exciting events include a trip to Nashville with some of our team members for the Nashville paving expo. Here we’ll be discussing the latest trends in asphalt design and the best business practices for paving and compaction. There will be opportunities to attend industry workshops and learn new ideas at the NPE leadership bootcamp. Vendors also showcase new technology equipment. Since our new division is still in the beginning stages and we want to ensure we are ahead of the game in regard to best practices, we will be attending the Thermoplastic Concentrates Convention in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as well.
We have been actively involved in helping our community and anyone who may need it. In previous years, we have extended helping hands to the people in Puerto Rico after their catastrophic experience with Hurricane Maria and Irma in 2017. This year, we will be returning to assist with ongoing clean up efforts. Can you believe that only 75% of the island has had their power restored since 2017? Unbelievable! We truly believe that our desire to give – be it through volunteering, donating, or simply praying – sets us all apart as human beings.
Happy New Year Everyone!
