RAM Pavement is more than a company that focuses on your paving needs. Giving back to our community is a big part of who we are and what we stand for. The RAM team is proud to collaborate with the local radio station, WFNZ, The Fan 610 AM, to sponsor the local charity event, Street Turkeys!

Street Turkeys is an annual food drive aimed at donating non-perishable food items, frozen turkeys and cash to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, and Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry. Street Turkeys has been feeding our Charlotte-area neighbors for 19 years now and they show no signs of slowing down.

RAM Pavement was approached by WFNZ, The Fan 610 AM, when they were requesting sponsorship and help getting the word out to the public. This is our third-consecutive year supporting this initiative and we love it! Our team members took to the streets from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with buckets and plaques to collect donations from drivers and pedestrians. We also solicited the generous people of our community for donations of turkeys, canned foods, and money for the cause.

“For all of you who helped out with Street Turkeys – I wanted to share this with you. Together, we raised nearly $40,000 in contributions and helped to load nearly 11,000 pounds of food! Although this event is scheduled around Thanksgiving every year, we often receive surplus donations of food and money. This way we can feed the community throughout the year!
