As part of our commitment to providing a safer and more organized environment for the community, RAM Pavement recently successfully completed a major project at Corvian School. This project which involved paving as well as restriping of the pavements was very helpful in improving traffic management and ensuring safety for the children, their parents and the rest of the staff. RAM Pavement continues to provide long-term solutions thanks to its vast experience in completing projects of such community-oriented nature.

Paving and Restriping for a Safer Campus

The Corvian School project involved extensive paving work for the elementary school and restriping for the middle and high schools. One of the major challenges was making sure that traffic flow was clearly defined, especially for new visitors unfamiliar with the layout. By using innovative striping techniques and color-coded lanes, we made it easier for everyone to navigate the campus safely and efficiently. We also included delineation markers that assisted in the organization of traffic. It reduced confusion for parents, visitors and even grandparents who are engaged in first-time pick-up. Even with the tight schedule, our team was able to complete the project before the start of the school year, minimizing disruption to the school’s operations.

Collaboration and Flexibility  

Throughout the project, RAM Pavement worked closely with Corvian School to meet their evolving needs. Led by Diane and her experienced team, we tackled last-minute changes requested by the school, such as adjusting signage and expanding the striping width. This flexible approach ensured that the project exceeded the school’s original expectations. The final design had a significant impact as it improved traffic management and ensured a safer environment for students, parents and visitors.
