Located in South Charlotte, the Shops at Piper Glen had a tight, busy parking lot with very limited space to work. After 3-4 months of detailed coordination with the property owner, we successfully completed a mill and pave project with new pavement markings — delivering a smooth outcome that earned high praise from everyone involved.

The Project
We partnered with the property management company to complete a full mill and pave of the front parking lot, followed by pavement marking reinstallation. Both our asphalt and striping departments were involved, and the work was carried out by two of our top crews — Bobby & Hector’s crew, and Carlos & Giovani’s crew — at different times to make the most of the available space.

The Challenge
Logistics were our biggest hurdle. With such a tight and high-traffic lot, we had to carefully sequence the work to avoid disrupting tenants and customers. We leaned on our core values — communication, leadership, integrity and respect — to guide every step of the project. In the end, it paid off: the client was thrilled with how smoothly it went.

The Result
This was a job where all of our core principles came together — planning, precision and execution. The property manager shared that the process was seamless and said, “The property looks so much better and fresher than I’ve ever seen it… We’ve gotten a lot of compliments.”

This project was a great reminder of what can be accomplished when planning, communication and teamwork all come together. From challenging logistics to high traffic, we tackled every challenge head-on — and delivered a result that both the client and their tenants noticed.
