Services
Seal Coating:
a. Clean areas to be sealed by removing all loose dirt and debris with power blowers and brooms.
b. Install "Prep-seal" oil saturated areas as necessary as to help coal tar sealer bond with the pavement
c. Apply (2) coats of Seal Master Coal Tar Sealer. Sealer will be made to manufacturer specifications: Per 100 Gallons of mix, 20-30 gallons of water will be added; 1-2% Latex Additive; and 1-2 lbs of sand per gallon of mix.
d. Note: This coal tar sealer meets the requirements of ASTM D 5727, RP 355e, ASTM D 3320-74T, FAA P62, and FAA P628 for coal tar pitch emulsion pavement sealer.
e. Allow 24 hours cure time before any traffic
Asphalt Rejuvenation:
a. Clean areas to be rejuvenated by removing all loose dirt and debris with power blowers and brooms.
b. Install (1) coat application by machine to entire surface with asphalt rejuvenator sealer.
c. Allow 24 hours cure time before any traffic.
Layout and Re-striping:
a. Clean areas that will be receiving new lines or re-striping.
b. Install Sherwin Williams HotLine Latex paint to coal tar sealed areas and rejuvenated areas
c. Install Sherwin Williams Promar Alkyd paint to all layouts and re-stripes. All layouts will be applied with two coats.
Hot Pour Crack Sealing:
a. Identify the cracks that are ¼'' or greater - excluding failures.
b. Clean the cracks by power blower.
c. Install Hot Pour rubberized crack sealant to areas of repair. One application only. Not all filler may be level as to allow for expansion and contraction.
d. Must be applied to DRY surfaces.
Asphalt Repairs:
a. Indicate all areas for repair
b. Excavate areas of repair to 4'' or 6'' depth and haul off.
c. Base will be examined and proof rolled to determine if it is necessary to remove and replace base or use full depth asphalt
d. Apply tack coat to edges.
e. Install 4'' of asphalt and compact to achieve maximum density
f. If necessary, apply 2'' more inches for 6'' depth repairs with separate lift; and another application of tack coat.
g. Compact final lift and if necessary seal all edges with Hot Pour Crack Sealant to prevent moisture from penetrating.
Asphalt Overlays:
a. Make all necessary repairs prior to overlay.
i. Flex Pave Overlay will be used if repairs/failure consist of 35% or more of parking lot
b. Clean entire area with power brooms.
c. Install tack to entire area.
d. Install 1.5'' of Hot Mix Surface Asphalt
e. Compact overlay to maximum density
Flex Pave Overlay:
a. Clean lot of debris
b. Install Tack Cote and 1'' of Flex Pave Binder Asphalt
c. Install Tack Cote and install 1'' of Surface Mix Asphalt
d. Roll and compact both lifts to maximum density.
Concrete Repairs (Flat or Curb):
a. Indicate which areas are to be repaired
b. Saw cut and dig out areas of failure to 4'', 6'', or 8'' depth
c. Inspect and compact base to 95% compaction
d. Install concrete to specification
e. Finish with broom or to specification
Bollard Installations:
a. Locate area prior to digging
b. Saw, cut and dig out concrete, earth, or asphalt.
c. Install New 4'' or 6'' steel bollard in the ground - approx 2' to 3' in the ground with 4' out of the ground
d. Fill hole and steel bollard with concrete
e. Paint bollard safety yellow
Parking Lot Signage:
a. Locate area prior to digging
b. Saw, cut and dig out concrete, earth, or asphalt.
c. Install new post and sign
d. Signs may also be installed to buildings
Parking Stop Installation:
a. Install Park stop as per specification
b. Install (2) steel pins
c. Hammer drill may be required to install new pins
